The current testing method is highly efficient, low-cost, and easy to automate. However, when applied to diaphragm water pumps operating with water as the medium, it harbors an overlooked logical flaw: passing an air leak test at 40 kPa does not guarantee the absence of water leakage at 90 kPa.
